Honor Flight Southland is a 501(c) (3) non-profit 100% volunteer organization created solely to honor America’s veterans for all their sacrifices. We safely transport our heroes to Washington DC to visit and reflect at their memorials. Top priority is given to the senior veterans – World War II survivors, along with those others who may be terminally ill.
Of all the wars in recent memory, it was WWII that truly threatened our very existence as a nation - and as a culturally diverse, free society. According to the Department of Veteran Affairs, an estimated 860 WWII veterans die each day. In 2019, our youngest WWII veteran is 91 years old, most are well into their 90's. Our time to express our thanks to these brave men and women is running out.
HONOR FLIGHT SOUTHLAND is our way of paying a small tribute to those who gave so much - a memorable, safe and rewarding TOUR OF HONOR!

A Sparkling Salute to Our Veterans
Giving Back Through Honor Flight
Veterans, we salute you! Sparkling Ice®, made by Talking Rain Beverage Company® and our partners are committed to supporting veterans and the Honor Flight Network. Together, our mission is to honor America’s veterans for their sacrifice by transporting our heroes to Washington, D.C. to visit their respective war memorials.
Our partnership with this amazing organization began three years ago after Chris Hall, recently promoted to Chief Executive Officer, stumbled upon an Honor Flight departure at the airport.
“Having spent nearly five years serving with the U.S. Navy, the Honor Flight Network is an organization close to my heart,” said Hall. “It was important to me that we inspire and motivate our team while giving back to our veterans, and we are humbled to lend our support to the upcoming Puget Sound Honor Flight.”
A tradition we’re proud to continue, we’re setting the bar high this year with a fundraising goal of $100,000.
In support of this year's Honor Flight, Sparkling Ice will be releasing new limited-edition case wraps specially designed to promote Honor Flight which are now available in stores nationwide and will be incorporated into in-store displays over Memorial Day and Fourth of July. The wraps will be red, white and blue and feature illustrations of the American flag, military camouflage and silhouettes of soldiers saluting. This marks Sparkling Ice's first year debuting the new wraps in support for Honor Flight.
